DARE to Dream Summer Day Program begins at Sweatt Recreational Complex in Wrentham. If we do get rain we will move inside to the Roderick School directly next to Sweatt Field. Please bring shorts, sneakers, water and a bag lunch on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. **All activities are subject to change**

Monday       JULY 28, 2025

Drop off is at Sweatt Field at 9:00 am. We will start off grade 5 camp with the Community Action Team from the Massachusetts State Police. In the past we have had their horse mounted unit, bomb and fire accelerant dogs.This year we will have the MSP Air Wing Helicopter landing on Sweatt Field The afternoon is "PUBLIC SAFETY DAY" from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Presenters include K9 Officer Kurt, Massachusetts Environmental Police, Plainville and Norfolk Fire Departments. Felony stop presentation by Norfolk Officer Jon King. PICK UP TIME IS 2 PM SHARP!

Tuesday      JULY 29, 2025

***EVENING ACTIVITY ***

We will be holding are camp in the evening! NO DAY TIME ACTIVITIES. We are pleased to announce Chainsaws, Cheeseburgers and Rock and Roll with our presenter Dr. "The Machine" Jesse Green is on board!!  Jesse has appeared on National Geographic, ESPN, Disney and many other outlets. The event will be held at the Raymond Library (Randall Rd) in Wrentham. On this night the participants will receive a FREE ice cream from C+C!  Please feed your child prior to coming to this event as he will NOT be receiving cheeseburgers! Drop off time is 5:30 pm and pick up is at 7:30 pm at the library.

Wednesday  JULY 30, 2025

We will be heading to Water Wizz in Wareham for a fun day on slides and rides!! Participants should bring sun screen. Lunch is usually bought by the participants. We will spend an extra hour at the park. Drop off at Sweatt Field at 8:45 am PICK UP is SHARPLY scheduled for 4 pm on this day

Thursday     JULY 31, 2025

Thursday we will be hiking to White Barn Farm in Wrentham! Drop off is at Sweatt Field at 9:00 am. A very fun and informational trip for all of our participants! Chris from White Barn will be hiking us through the back woods of Wrentham! Please pack a lunch and water bottle on this day. Pick up is at 2 pm at Sweatt Field. PLEASE BE PROMPT WITH YOUR PICK UP!

Friday       AUGUST 1, 2025

We will wrap up our fifth grade program at Sweatt Beach in Wrentham! Drop off at Sweatt Beach is 9 am. Karaoke, volleyball, our famous sandcastle competition and many more activities! Participants are to bring their lunch with them on this day. Great way to end our fifth grade program! PICK UP IS AT 2 PM SHARP!! YOU MUST SIGN OUT ANY PARTICIPANT WHO YOU ARE PICKING UP UPON EXITING THE PREMISES. PARENT MUST SIGN THEM OUT WITH THEIR COLOR GROUP (COUNSELORS) IN ORDER FOR PARTICIPANT TO RECEIVE HIS/HER T-SHIRT. THANK YOU! PICK UP IS AT 2 PM SHARP!!
